'C-sport' class racing car moulding plug
Having programmed our 5 axis CNC milling machine, the racing car was milled in sections from raw polystyrene blocks.
The milled polystyrene sections were then bonded together to complete the racing car model prior to shipping to the USA.
The finished polystyrene model was then epoxy resin coated.

Polystyrene Pea Car model.

This pea car can be seen in the Birds Eye pea commercial on TV. Bakers Patterns made the polystyrene model shown here and a fibreglass mould was taken from it to produce the shell of the pea car.

Polystyrene mannequin and body parts
Life size polystyrene mannequin.
3x size polyurethane hand.
The life size mannequin was produced from a STL file after the actor had first been laser scanned.
The finished polystyrene mannequin was used as a dummy for producing prosthetic appliances and make-up for a character in the Dr. Who TV series.

Hand Material: CNC cut BM5108 polyurethane board. The polystyrene hand was used for a sculpture of a famous super model.

Bronze statue


This was for a private client in Monte Carlo.
An original 300mm long wooden sculpture was laser scanned by Rapido 3D, we then milled the pattern from polyurethane foam and the finished bronze was cast by Black Isle Bronze foundry.

HMV 'Nipper The Dog' model
We milled 1 metre tall polystyrene models of the famous HMV 'Nipper' dog used in their 2006 Christmas advertising campaign.
Featured in the window displays at Bond Street and Oxford Circus HMV Megastores. the models were created from a STL file output from Autodesk Maya animation software.
Material and process: CNC cut polystyrene, finished with acrylic paint.

3D cartoon character model replication



We reverse-engineered an existing wooden model of a cartoon character and manufactured an exact replica in polyurethane model board. This process can be applied to any model for example models for exhibition displays or advertising and marketing promotions.
